Allied Telesis is a certified partner with Microsoft, supporting Microsoft Network
Access Protection technology. Allied Telesis products deliver superior tested NAP
interoperability. Network Access Protection (NAP) is a policy enforcement technology
built into the Windows Vista/XP SP3 and Windows Server 2008 operating systems. It
allows you to better protect your network assets from unhealthy computers by enforcing
compliance with network security policies. Allied Telesis’ NAP solution supports
NAP by enforcing network policy rules for user access. Standards-based IEEE 802.1X
port-based security and RADIUS rules are used to dynamically assign users to pre-defined
Virtual LANs (VLANs), based on each user’s identity and end-point status. This provides
superior, granular network control by isolating and eliminating problems before
they reach your network. NAP is currently available on a range of Allied Telesis
layer 2 and layer 3 switches. Allied Telesis is committed to providing secure
networks. Interoperability with Microsoft NAP on our range of advanced switches
is an important addition to our already comprehensive security set.
